▣ Role Overview – Associate Test Engineer (Automation)

The Associate Test Engineer (Automation) plays a critical role within the Engineering team, collaborating with top-tier engineers and product teams to design, implement, test, deliver, and support ambitious software products and integrations. The work directly impacts customer satisfaction and overall program success within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

▣ Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong dedication to delivering high product quality.
• Develop and maintain test scripts based on functional and technical designs or for ad hoc bug fix testing.
• Investigate and analyze defects to determine root causes.
• Execute test cases, log defects, and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
• Track defects to closure, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage multiple tasks while staying organized in a dynamic work environment.

▣ Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, SQL, and web programming.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

▣ Technical Knowledge

• Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks, e.g., Java/J2EE with Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with web/application servers such as Tomcat.
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
• Experience using version control tools like Git or SVN.
• Understanding of build tools like Maven or Gradle.
