▣ Role Overview – Associate Test Engineer (Automation)
The Associate Test Engineer (Automation) plays a critical role within the Engineering team, collaborating with top-tier engineers and product teams to design, implement, test, deliver, and support ambitious software products and integrations. ▣ Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong dedication to delivering high product quality.
- Develop and maintain test scripts based on functional and technical designs or for ad hoc bug fix testing.
- Investigate and analyze defects to determine root causes.
- Execute test cases, log defects, and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Track defects to closure, ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage multiple tasks while staying organized in a dynamic work environment.
▣ Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 0-1 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, SQL, and web programming.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
▣ Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks, e.g., Java/J2EE with Spring Boot.
