▣ About the Role – Software Engineer, Newmanaut
Postman is hiring Software Engineers (Newmanaut) to join the Collaboration Platform Team in Bengaluru. This team is responsible for building systems that enable API collaboration for millions of developers. The position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with less than 1 year of professional experience who want to build strong engineering fundamentals and contribute to large-scale production systems.
▣ Responsibilities
- Work with senior engineers to deliver features across collaboration modules.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable production-level code.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing.
- Contribute to collaboration core platform projects.
- Learn system design, engineering best practices, and product impact.
▣ Requirements
- Fresh graduate or less than 1 year of professional engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: Data Structures, Algorithms, OOP, Databases, Networking.
- Familiarity with web and backend development.
- Interest in product impact and collaborative engineering.
▣ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with full-stack applications (internship or projects).
- Exposure to API usage or development.
▣ Work Location
Hybrid role in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In-office presence required on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
