The Mumbai engineering team (45+ engineers) builds Fospha’s Modelling & Attribution platform, Planning and Analytics tools. Now, Fospha is hiring Junior Software Engineers to join the next growth phase.
Role & Responsibilities:
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will:
- Execute full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
- Build and maintain ETL data pipelines
- Integrate software components into working systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications
- Develop verification plans & quality assurance procedures
- Document software functionality
- Ensure systems comply with industry standards
- Keep software updated with latest features
What They’re Looking For:
- Strong problem-solving skills in data engineering and software development
- Passionate learner who adapts to emerging technologies
- Ability to collaborate in Agile team environments
- Interest in scalable, secure, and automated data solutions
Required Skills (Freshers Can Apply if You Have These):
- Hands-on coding experience in Python
- Knowledge of SQL (data transformations, not just CRUD)
- Understanding of ETL data pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket and Jira
Good to Have (Optional but a Plus):
- Knowledge of dbt (data build tool)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Basic understanding of data modeling & statistics
