📋 About the Program

The Bank of America Apprentice Program (Its Indian subsidiary BA Continuum India Pvt. Ltd) is a structured, paid training program for final-year students who want to gain real-world technology and banking experience before graduation.

In simple words, this Apprenticeship is like an internship, but more structured and longer in duration, where you’ll learn, work on real projects, and possibly transition into a full-time technology role after completion.

📒 What You’ll Learn in this Program?

This Program gives you exposure to real-world technologies used in global banking systems:

Big Data & Analytics Tools: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Sqoop, Impala, Hue
Programming Languages: Python, Java, C#, C++, SQL, Scala
Data & Automation: ETL, Teradata, Datastage, Quartz, Tableau
Emerging Technologies: AI/ML tools, Cloud Platforms, Kafka, Shell Scripting
Work Practices: Agile Methodology, CI/CD Pipelines, Global Collaboration

You’ll also gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems and learn how technology powers banking operations around the world.

⚙️ Your Responsibilities

During the program, you’ll:

Translate business and client requirements into technical designs
Write and test code to integrate with internal banking applications
Participate in CI/CD release activities (branching, code reviews, pull requests)
Document data models, findings, and solutions
Conduct proof-of-concepts to test new technologies
Collaborate with international teams across APAC, EMEA, and AMRS
Ensure software meets quality, security, and performance standards

👨🏻‍💻 Eligibility Criteria

Who can apply:

Final-year students from the Class of 2026
Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
Minimum 80% or CGPA of 8/10 in the last semester
No pending backlogs at the time of applying
Must be Indian citizens residing in India

🖥️ Required Skills

Basic knowledge of one programming language (Java, C#, C++, or Python)
Familiarity with databases, distributed systems, and data visualization tools
Understanding of Agile practices, JIRA, Excel, and Unix/Linux
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Good communication and teamwork skills

Bonus Skills (Good to Have):
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in academic or personal coding projects

📍 Work Conditions

Open to any location among the five mentioned cities
Must be willing to work in rotational or night shifts based on business needs
