📋Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer Intern (System Test Engineer) at EA, you’ll be part of the EA Digital Platform (EADP) team, responsible for developing scalable, cross-platform infrastructure that powers games and digital services. You’ll design automation tools, execute performance tests, and contribute to cloud-based gaming systems that serve millions of players worldwide.

This internship offers hands-on experience in real-world systems, performance testing, and software development while collaborating with experts in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

⚙️Your Key Responsibilities:

Build and integrate tools to automate processes and enhance efficiency.
Create, maintain, and optimize simulation code in C++ or Scala for real-world gaming applications.
Perform stress and load testing to evaluate system performance under game-like conditions.
Analyze game logs to design accurate test scenarios and performance metrics.
Troubleshoot system and network performance issues and identify root causes.
Collaborate with global teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
Communicate test results, issues, and progress clearly to project teams.
Follow EA’s security and compliance guidelines, ensuring safe and reliable systems.

🎓Qualifications & Skills Required:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong programming skills in C++, Scala, or Python.
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
Familiar with scalable systems design and distributed architecture.
Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, Redis, etc.
Experience or interest in visualization tools such as Grafana.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about gaming and technology.
